If you're here, it means you're a flipping fantastic cat parent. Hi! I'm Tay.
I was raised in Los Angeles, CA by a veterinary ophthalmologist. She'd always quiz me on dog breeds on the street and I would fail, but I still learned a lot about animals. I lost my besties, my childhood cats, when my mom passed on to the big vet office in the sky.
I missed my cats a lot but adopted another cat when I wasn't ready. I was not a rockstar cat parent and both my kitty and I were very sad. Sadly he joined my mom too soon, and I can't help but feel I failed him. I was around animals constantly growing up and even I felt lost after adopting a cat.
After years of serious medical issues, I desperately needed the magic of some good old fashioned kitty love, but I vowed to make this time different.
After a truly unhinged amount of research, I adopted another cat named Remy. Remy and I weren't besties at first and I definitely had not earned rockstar status, but I used my unhinged amount of research and the stubbornness that got me through my health problems to show up differently for this cat. Like all great things, it didn't happen overnight, but now we're the comeback kids of the century.
I love Remy like I love my right arm and both of my kidneys, and he grew up to be pretty darn cool if I do say so myself. Everyone who comes over threatens SEMI-jokingly to steal him, so I'll take that as a good sign (unless they do steal him, so don't get any funny ideas!).
I want to help my fellow cat parents skip right to the Remy phase and avoid the serious challenges of my cat before him. This website and our obnoxiously adorable socials (not bias it's scientific fact, just Google "serious very true science") are unhinged research distilled into your perfectly hinged amount of research.

I'm glad you asked, dear fellow cat parent!
A lot of people really want to show up for their cat, build that beautiful close friendship, and support their kitty's well being, but it can be hard to know what to actually do. Especially if you don't have a ton of time everyday.
(We love a cat parent on the go!) It's something I wish I had during my own journey. I wanted to help my fellow feline parents actually reach their goals without the guesswork or frustration that I faced.
